Seeking some cuttings of Devil's Ivy and Variegated Cast Iron Plant

I need cuttings of Devils Ivy's and Variegated Cast Iron Plant

Epipremnum Aureus / Pothos / Devils Ivy and Variegated Cast Iron Plant cuttings are needed. This is my first time trying this site for plant exchanges and hope I'm in the right area for what I need. I had to give ALL my plants away when I was very ill and had to move in with my son and his family where there was no room for my plants. They took very good care of me and I have recovered from that long illness and now living back on my own. So now I'm trying to rebuild my plant family with asking (begging LoL) for plant cuttings or rooted plants because I have very little funds at this time to buy plants from stores. I can't go rummaging like I use to for plants and pots etc because I can no longer drive. I hate to bother my family with this issue although I know that they would do all they can to help me but they do so much for me as it is. With the kindness of some people in my new neighborhood I am pretty well set up with new cuttings and small plants all except Devils Ivy or Pothos and Variegated Cast Iron Plant (this was my favorite plant it was huge before I had to give it away) . I'm trying to get plants that clean the air because many of my kind neighbors smoke in their apartments but that don't stop the smoke and the smell from drifting all around the halls and other places in the building (my apartment). At this time I really don't have much to trade with except some heart leaf philodendron and they are really small cuttings at this time but growing nicely in soil. In the near future I will have Swiss Cheese plant, Black Bamboo, Night Blooming Epiphyllum ( this is what I was told it is), baby spider plants and Purple Velvet Plant. I don't know the procedures for plant swaps at this time but I'm a fast learner and I'm sure some kind person/s will clue me in to the way it's done here. Thanks in advance for your kind consideration in this matter.

tropicalgranny, email me your address and I'll send you several different kinds of pothos. I don't have the variegated variegated Cast Iron Plant, hope you find someone that will share it.

Thank you so much mari_t232 for your kind offer to go hunting for some cuttings (lol) for me. A neighbor just last week gave me his big old pot of arrowheads, they were in bad shape you know all leggy and scraggly and mostly dried out. After I cleaned it up, I asked him would he like the old plant back and I'll just keep some of the cuttings he said no way he didn't like the way it grew and for me to keep it. So I have been enjoying watching my new plant grow.

Russ1023 sent me a variety of Pothos and Philodendron cuttings and they are all doing beautifully.

Your living in Florida those arrowheads must grow like weeds in I guess your garden?

There is one other cutting I'm looking for that would be PASSION VINE. Before I had to give my old one away it flowered all through the winter here in a south facing window, no fruits just beautiful flowers.

Marina at this time I have ran out of flower pots and I an using just about anything that I can turn into a flower pot ( jars, cups, decorative cans, plastic drinking cups, baby shoes for succulents he also gave me some Sempervivum hens and chicks).

I was looking for a variegated cast iron plant cutting, then a family member was coming from visiting family in Georgia he brought be a small clump of it, and boy was I surprised and over joyed not so much overjoyed by the plant but the thoughtfulness of the gift. Much like I'm thankful and overjoyed by the thoughtfulness of your kind offer.

I'm happy to meet you Marina. Terri

Terri, there are a lot of different passion vines. You're obviously looking for the one you grew previously, do you know which one it was? If you don't know the species, what color(s) were the flowers? I don't grow them but maybe I could find or trade for one for you.

And the hunting begins :) good thing, too, since I've never had passion vines before, so it will be a good opportunity to learn.

I am from Brazil, so you can imagine I am used to seeing them. They grow over houses where I'm from lol

right now I'm trying to get a rose bush started, my cutting still looks alive after a month, we shall see.

I had some impatiens seeds from a friend's hanging baskets that I used to harvest, this june I sprouted them, so darn cute but slow as a slug to grow...

Russ and Marina, Thank you both for helping me, I was growing Passiflora Caerulea. I grew it from seeds which took a long time to germinate boy oh boy was that fun to wait and see if they would grow indoors lol.

Marina that must be a sight to behold those passion vines all over houses, especially when in bloom. Those Impatiens seedlings look great.

I'm also in the search for floral mums, because NASA deemed mums the best at cleaning the air of all the plants on their list with Sansevierias second on the list. I love those Sans even if they weren't on the list but that gives me extra reason to love them more. They have many other plants on the list, I'm picking the ones I like and think I can grow in this apt. I really don't know much about floral mums. I have grown perennial mums in the garden and various greenhouses but floral mums are a mystery to me at this point, so the search is on, love that internet. Can they be started with seeds or do I need cuttings are a couple of questions I have at this point?

Thank You again for considering and helping me with my search for plants.

Terri, checking Ebay there are P. caerulea seeds for sale for various prices. But I'll look around for a plant here, it must take a couple of years or more to get one to blooming size from seed.

I don't know anything about mums, maybe someone else will chime in with info.
