It's very full and beautiful! It won't like being moved, but hopefully it will get used to it. They like alot of humidity. A place in the bathroom would be ideal. If not, mist it daily. Put it in a sunny window and try not to over water it. I had terrible luck with ferns. I only know how to take care of them because I used to sell them when I worked in a garden center.

That is one beautiful plant! I have a Boston that is strictly a house plant. Has never been outside since I've had it, and that's been many years. And yes, they will lose some leaves when moved, but should be only temporary. My house is extremely dry, and I mist it once a day, and it seems to be very happy! It's not as big as yours, but puts out new growth regularly. (That's a hoya underneath it in a hanging pot).

And here is the Hoya Fungii. Got it from someone here on this board, and it's grown so much! It was pretty small when I got it.

My MIL would bring her ferns in. Huge beautiful things! She put them in an unused bedroom in late fall, covered the carpet under them with a shower curtain or the like, cut them back somewhat, and didn't give very much water. They were next to windows, but the light was filtered. In no time at all in in the spring, she would have large green beautiful plants! She did most all of her outdoor potted plants in this manner, some further, some closer to the windows in this bedroom. Oh, and very importantly, the room got very little heat!

I bring mine in during the winter. Every year it would look terrible.

However, last year I stuck with in my tree room with plenty of light and 70% humidity. It finally did well. Humidity seems to be the trick.

My trick for reviving boston ferns inside is to jam a long chopstick into the soil in many places and then water. Misting is helpful, but also important to make sure to get some air into the soil too so the water can be absorbed.
