Cetaphil- and the Trader Joe's brands are my go-tos. Cetaphil is the better of the two though.

Coconut oil. I put a pump on the jar.

Lubriderm with spf, or Aveeno. I add a few drops of peppermint oil to the bottle to keep the bugs away.

Oil of Olay. I also use their shower soap and face cleanser.

I need to pick up another jar of coconut oil and give it a try. I bought a jar when we had a bout of lice!!! But after dipping in it to use on DD's hair, I didn't keep it. hmmmm...I like that tip for peppermint :-) Thanks.

I don't mind greasy lotions, I think that's why I like Nivea. Give your skin a little shine LOL

Aveeno (brilliance) face lotion with spf and Jergens body lotion for my hands.

Lubriderm unscented/senstive skin, no SFF since it affects DH. For my face I use Olay with SPF.

Curel fragrance free lotion. Have used it for years.

Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion

I am old. Still love Jergens original.

My DD has used a few of those in shower lotions. She likes them but does caution that they make the shower floor slippery. She has eczema and tries to use a lotion daily. These really help.

I like the in shower lotions but the cost was higher and I just never think about buying them. I mostly use bath and body. Their 75% off sales make it fairly cheap.

CereVe moisturizing cream. The best.

My go to lotion is good enough for our babies and good enough for me Johnson's Baby Lotion, I probably should try something new as well...

I second the CeraVe moisturizing cream mentioned by Bumblebeez. It really is quite wonderful and I haven't found a cream or lotion to compare.

Unscented Lubriderm, too.

I have used Vaseline Intensive Carre of one variety or another for a long time, but tried a bottle of the Nivea cocoa butter and liked it to get a second bottle.

Cetaphil cream. Awesome stuff. I have the CereVe, too, but don't like feel of it on my skin. The Cetaphil feels like nothing but soft skin.

My kids get me anything scented (especially citrus) from Bath and Body Works for my bday, Mother's Day, Christmas, and I love it. Whatever they just got me is my favorite until my next holiday.

Funny, i can't use Cerave: it smells like cigarette smoke on me. Drove me crazy for a few days until I figured out it was the Cerave. L'Air du Temps perfume reacts the same way on me, and it's too bad because I like the scent in the bottle.

Gold bond for eczema

I was thinking the in shower lotions might make the shower/tub slippery. I LOVE the smell of baby lotion :-)

A recent switch to CereVa. The facial cleanser also. I used Cetaphil for YEARS and loved it, but my skin started to feel a bit drier. I believe it was on the website that Idaclaire shared - the lady with the make-up tips, anti-aging info, etc. CereVa is more moisturizing than Cetaphil, yet still very mild. It has hyaluronic acid. I will also use a perfumed cream before dressing and going out. For this time of year I love BBW's coconut lime whatever it is. LOL I sometimes use coconut oil on stubborn spots (like elbows, feet). I love the smell of baby lotion too!

Cereva body lotion all over, Amlactin on feet and backs of arms and anyplace that needs exfoliation.

Bath & Bodyworks "sea island cotton". Not too perfumy but nice coverage

Aveeno, CereVa, Cetaphil. I also like Eucerin Eczema Body Cream. I don't have eczema, but my skin usually appreciates this one by a certain point in the winter.

I like to be lightly scented and BBW Limoncello has been a lovely summer scented lotion.

I love neutrgena oil with sesame. Smells great and glides on easily.

I have a severe addiction to Bath and body works. I like that they don't sit on top of my skin like other lotion does,and I love the tons of different scents. Last I counted I had 57 different kinds.....with matching body sprays.

omg...57!!! WOW. I've used that oil too Lyban, it is very nice indeed.

I also recommend the Neutrogena Body Oil. I use it in the shower, while still wet. Pat dry and apply lotion. I really love the scent. It's pretty much my "signature scent". I saw my ex-MIL the other day. We hugged and she said, "Oh Les, you smell exactly the same. I've always loved the way you smell". It was a sweet compliment that made my day.

i have never tried the lotion only the oil. Can you explain why you use both.

maybe I should add lotion after the oil, I never thought of that.

I'm really dry. My dermatologist recommended the layering method to me back in my thirties. Sometimes, in the summer, I only do one but doing both is what really works for me.

Lyban - you are welcome! I also use the the body Buf Puf for exfoliation. The routine totally changed my skin from scaly gator to soft and healthy. This time of year, I sometimes leave off the lotion. I hope this helps. :-)

I also use Jergens Body BB cream with sunscreen.

CeraVe is the best for all over. Keeps moisturizing for a long time. And for those of you with allergies, no scent to it.

Pacifica. Put it on when still wet from the shower. Soaks in without a greasy feel, scent lasts all day.

I'm a user of Vanicream also. I just use it for my hands, it's very thick and does seem to help with those cracking patches I get on my pointer finger and thumb. It doesn't smell.

Another AmLactin user here. I find it especially useful for prolonging the smoothness of my feet after a pedicure.

After shower, Cetaphil cream (comes in a tub) all over.

In the kitchen, coconut oil on my hands.

I like Aveeno because it isn't greasy and it doesn't irritate my skin. I am very sensitive to glycerin so a lot of lotions are out for me because of that.
