Pairing Chrome with Brushed Nickel/Stainless Steel

If I have chrome pendants over the kitchen island, and stainless steel appliances (fridge, microwave/wall oven, cooktop, wall-mounted range hood) -- essentially brushed nickel, what finish should my cabinet hardware and faucet be? Chrome or brushed nickel? I admire a bit of bling from chrome, but I'm fearful of too much. Would chrome pendants look odd among all brushed nickel/stainless steel appliances and hardware, or would they make a complimentary statement as the only chrome in the room? I want to say the latter, but I second and third guess myself. Confidence-boosting visuals appreciated.

Details: My perimeter cabinetry will be white or slightly grey, island base dark-stained, countertops marble-look quartz, and the backsplash a white subway tile with grey grout. The pendants would be similar to this, ~13" W x 13" H:

Thank you!
