    Certainly in another situation. It all just depends on overall color composition.

    Hi Joseph, how many tons of mexican beach pebble was used on this project? Looks like 1-2 inch stones.

    Including that and other areas, I think we used about 1 ton. Usually figure about a 2" layer over less expensive base rock.

    I'd like to use the mexican beach pebbles between the pavers for the walk path I'm going to lay to connect my drive to the courtyard in the pic below. The ground is hard clay and water runoff accumulates here from the slope then drains away through a 12 foot long channel drain. What would you suggest for paver base over the clay? Sand or 89/10 crushed or both?
