Dreamline is one mfg that makes a hinged glass door that has a stationary panel which does have a fixed track but the door itself looks to have a plastic sweep attached but no track where you step over the tub. I saw it here on FaucetDirect. The two things I don't care for in this type of set up, no matter who makes it, is that you can't reach in to turn the water on unless you're in the tub, and also that I'm worried about banging the door and breaking it.

I'd like to find sliding doors without a track that slide both ways but so far no luck.

oh, also there's a Schon Judy tub door that has a fixed panel with a sliding trackless door but reviews on Home Depot say it leaks. Between the reviews and the fixed panel, I gave up on it but maybe it would work for you (like maybe to prevent leaks it needs a sweep on the slider bottom or between the doors).

I'm wondering if I could get something like French Doors for the tub. Maybe a fixed 6 inch panel on either end, and two 24 inch doors with silicone or rubber sweeps on the bottom of the sdoors. Or is that crazy?
