Hello Michelle. I hope I had responded in time. I went with an architect that can be found at basementdesigner.com. He actually has a lot of reviews and was rated highly on Houzz. I did not finalize my plans yet with him but he is definitely capable and came up with some great plans so far for my basement. He actually designs your basement through email which is kind of cool and convenient and the cost as well. Check out his website. It seems like he is asking for a lot of information, but it really isn't too bad. All I had to do was take a bunch of pictures and some measurements along with a wishlist and he can create what you are looking for. Also, I happen to be a reputable licensed and insured electrician as well, so if you are interested, I can help with your project if you are local.
