Mary Eid: You're too kind! Glad you like it. The project was completed early 2007, so, some material colors may have changed since. (I.E., the granite today, by the same name, might not be quite the same color now as then).

Countertops are Kashmir Gold granite.

The backsplash is a combination of several materials:

○ Walls: 2 Rows Oceanside Tessera #109 Amber Iridescent 1x1 above counter, topped with Walker Zanger Tuscany “Villa Oro” 4x4 tumbled travertine set in running bond pattern
○ Above Cooktop:
- Field: Walker Zanger Tuscany “Villa Oro” 4x4 set diagonally
- Surround (from Outside-In): Oceanside Terrain Canopy 2" glass Liner Amber Iridescent Color #109 with ½ x ½" glass Oceanside Facets“Coppertone Blend”, followed by Oceanside Traverse 7/8" glass Liner Amber Color #09
- Accents:
■ Center: 4x4 Bronze Frame over Walker Zanger Forged Bascomb 2x2 Deco
■ Outer corners: Walker Zanger Forged Bascomb 2x2 Deco (4)
■ Compass Points: Oceanside Tessera #09 1x1 Amber (4)

It took the tiler nearly a week to set it. Adhesive was meticulously cleaned from around the glass tiles before grouting with Hydroment Linen. The tumbled travertine was sealed with an enhancing sealer.
