I want to mount my tv between these windows. Will that look ok?

Not a good location for a TV. Too much flare, and the furniture arrangement and traffic pattern is wrong.

This is my living room. The sectional has to stay in that corner so where would be the best placement for the tv?

I think it is ideal.....I can imagine a console under the TV and hung at eye level. A plant on each side would be nice also.

This is my idea so far. I'm open to any arrangement except that the sectional has to stay where it is. The windows are too low for it to be placed on that wall.

Your idea is great. You can hang the TV on the wall. But you should have curtain or something on your window. Too much flare as Sophie said.

You will need good blinds to block the glare but I use solar shades for this purpose all the time 10% ones do the trick an let you keep the view IMO that is the perfect place for the T.V just make sure it is placed so the center of the screen is at eye level when you are sitting. The T.V. in the pic above is too high and yes you will need a low stand of course for all that T.V stuff

I’m in this dilemma now.. Want a tv in our living room - not an option above fireplace - not designed for a TV; would be too costly to redo the fireplace. Our only option is between the two windows - a Samsung Frame TV that would display Art or Family photo. Need help with size of TV.. The TV is on the North which doesn’t get sun.. Would love some help..

The measurement between windows is 59” - photo above. Computer in front of window to get idea & watch movie while cooking from kitchen.. all open space. Would love to change out curtains & rods.. Help to decide 50” TV or 43” TV Any advice would be greatly appreciated..

Even if light is coming in from north, you will still be looking at a TV and have light from both windows, so follow advice for light blocking or diffusing window coverings.

This is the hardest project to figure out. This room was designed as a formal living room - being quarantined in March/April - I want a TV in this room.. just trying to figure out a good spot for the TV

The drapes or black out shades are the critical part of putting the tv in between windows. But the suggestion of a console underneath is also a great design idea. Otherwise, it’s a big black rectangle hanging on the wall.

The Samsung tv will be flushed to the wall; it can be framed out to choice of color. It can be displayed as Artwork on screen when not watching TV..

Any other advice of another spot for TV would be helpful..

Draperies on the windows and a TV over a console cabinet might work, but you will have to adjust everything to account for the baseboard heater. There is one electrical outlet, lower right near the right window, but no TV connector, so a cabinet will be needed hide wiring and cords.

So Sorry for posting on this thread.. not sure how to start my own. Not familiar with Houzz

I love the idea as everyone else has mentioned. TV in middle with console or drywall over your old fireplace and add an electric insert fireplace with the television above it. Definitely drapes or solar shades. The rattan shades from Pottery barn work well too.

@Tammy Halcomb I’m curious what you ended up doing? And what size did you get? We’re facing an almost identify dilemma right now re: Frame TV between two windors.

If the post with the two pieces of paper represent the 50” and 43” TV and you want to be able to see it from the kitchen, go 50”

Curious, Would TV that touches or overlaps slightly window trim be a bad? Wall mounts so it extends away from wall and allows curtaing to flow behind TV. The TV would not block Windows, just the trim. Is this too much, asking for friend.
