    1. Southern lapwing (really loud bird) :)

    2. Blue dacnis

    3. Capybara (animal) and Chopi blackbird

    4. Fork-tailed flycatcher

    5. House sparrow (male)

    6. Pigeon

    7. ???????

    8. House sparrow (female)

    9. Red-rumped cacique

    Thanks, Ingrida, names can be beautiful too. It's startling to see the house sparrows in such an exotic lineup - although maybe they're exotic in Brazil.

    The capybara looks so comfortable lounging there with a bird on its back.

    This is late but those are beautiful pictures! The capybara is too cute... In elementary school I did a report on them... Beautiful birds as well :) Btw, I'm not sure if the term is different in the US, but #6 is a mourning dove. #7 I believe is a tropical kingbird. I'm not sure about #2, the beak looks a little too blunt to be a dacnis (although I could be wrong about that).
