Should I be worried about my Euphorbia obesa?

I got these two E obesa (male and female) back in spring, the first picture here is from July.

This weekend I noticed that the size difference between the two is much more noticeable.

To me it really looks like the one on the right is sort of collapsing like a pudding. However, the ball is still as firm as anything, roots are too, so nothing else that could point to the plant being in bad health.

Should I be worried, or is this a common thing that can happen to E obesa?

They look fine in the picture. They will look similar generally. Each will have its' own rate of growth. I don't recall if male and female take on different statures. Maybe someone has commented on this in another post.

They look great. Whatever you are doing, keep doing it.

Maybe they are different species? There is at least one other very similar species but it stays a perfect globe--with time obesa gets taller than wide. Can't remember the species name, have seen it at shows.

E. symetrica looks a lot like obesa.

You can tell the difference early by the flowers. One stays single and the other is multiple. Can't remember which. Can find online if wish.

I don't remember which, but I think one sex stays more squat and the other gets taller.

Here's a picture showing the flowers on the different sexes, but I have no idea if it says something about the shape too or whether that's just coincidental.

Well, both obesa are still doing well, and my first attempt at hand pollination seems to have been successful, yay
