Seeking pics of Installed Caesarstone Statuario Maximus

We are trying to decide on countertops, and right now Caesarstone Statuario Maximus seems to be the front runner. However, I have been trying (in vain) to find pics of it installed in a kitchen (other than those provided by Caesarstone, which have undoubtedly been enhanced for publication). My big concern is whether the pattern "disappears" like Calacatta Nuovo and some others - seems like some patterns look mostly like a white countertop unless you are right next to the counter. I'm looking for something bolder than that. If you have installed Statuario Maximus in your kitchen, I would be forever grateful if you could post a pic!! Thanks Houzzers!

busymom03 - Have you seen a slab in person at all?

No, just the small sample square, and pictures online. I was originally planning to go with a granite or quartzite, but in the last few days have started to lean heavily to quartz instead. But selecting off of a small sample makes me nervous.

Hi, here is a Houzz thread where the OP posts photos of her Statuario Maximus counters about half way down. They might respond if you post on their thread. The post was from August.

Your countertops look wonderful! Do you feel like the veining is "bold" and visible from several feet away?

Yes I do think the veining is quite visible, however there is a lot of white which I like. I don't like a very "busy" countertop so it really works for me.

The white is a true white not cream or beige.

FYI for anyone interested in this caesarstone product. I just got a quote for it -a 72x30 island, no cutouts, with a mitered edge. $3600...ouch! If you're doing the math, that's $240 per square foot...mitered edge only added $600. I can get the calacatta gold marble for that price!

You need to get a second quote.

We paid $100 square foot for our Statuario

I'm in Pennsylvania - where are you located? I know there can be geographic variations... (although this seems crazy...)

I'm in Atlanta. We have a Caesarstone warehouse in Atlanta that our fabricator sent us to look at full slabs. I don't think proximity to a warehouse would make a difference in price.

Are they making you pay for a full slab?

I don't know - My designer is getting the pricing, but it's very clear I need to ask her some questions!

Good news - my designer is going to check out some other fabricator options so we will see if I can get this product for a (much) more reasonable price - keep you fingers crossed! If anyone else has more pics - especially of a slightly wider span/island, would love to see them!

I hope you have good luck. I couldn't be happier with mine. It is literally carefree.

leslieanndaugherty, that looks beautiful. Are you cabinets off white or creamy? Kind of looks like it from the photos. What color is your backsplash? We are thinking of using this as well, and our cabinets are off white and all the other quartz designs are too white. What warehouse did you go to to see the slabs in ATL? Is yours the glossy or matte version? Are you still happy with it? Thank you. :)

    @leslieanndaugherty

Could you please tell me if you paired Statuario Maximus with pure white cabinets?

  • last year

Yes they were very white. The countertop was a little creamy. I thought it looked good.

Do you think the countertop has a beige undertone or grey undertone? Like do you think there is yellow in it?

  • last year

I sold the house 4 years ago so if memory serves it seemed like a more cool undertone. (Grey)

    Thank you!
