For the 2-bed-1-bath I'd pick a coordinated palette of 3 colors. Example: Navy blue, Lavender, Gray. Choose one for each bedroom, the third for the bathroom, and then pull colors from both rooms in to the bath for accents'/accessories. Again, for the other combos choose a palette you love and make them work together in tandem so they don't "fight" each other, but complement. Each section can be a stand-alone, as in the Master doesn't have to "match" the other 1-b-1-b.

I see that a lot of ceilings are the same color as walls. I have 12 for ceiling. they are same color as well now. going a little lighter on the walls. Should I do the same with the ceiling or paint it white. Crown molding throughout, chair rails throughout its a long home. I was going to do all one color from front door straight through to the kitchen cuz you can see from one to the other is that what you would suggest.
