What's the rest of the room look like?

Do a search here -- they come in everything from sleek propeller style to chandelier look and even rotating-fan-look. No idea what "attractive" means to you, so you need to look around.

There are good looking ceiling fans without lights. Then you'd need a couple of floor lamps or table lamps, not sure if that would take care of your lighting needs?

we have a minka aire pancake. no light kit. we chose that model because it has a reverse function on the remote, not many do.

I found a few minka aire that we liked! Seems to be the most popular for streamlined fans. Couldn't find any other brands.

Everything is moved around and pics aren't helpful considering the rug is going and there's random bedroom furniture in the room, lol!

We installed LED recessed lighting and will also add lamps. So no lighting needed. Just fan

i match the ceiling. no matter which kind you get the blades are plastic, so the wood is just decals on brown plastic.

Not true, there are fans with real wood blades. You just have to look for them.

A ceiling fan should function for your needs and in your climate. Do some research regarding speeds and air dispersion. Casablanca and Minka Aire both have great looking fans. For really high end check out Big Ass Fans.
