I would look at either quartz or granite with a combination of white, and light to mid-tone browns, & possibly even darker, as long as it is balanced in the coloration. There are lots of beautiful ones out there. Good Luck :)

I would take a sample of your floor and a paint chip with you when you are out searching. Below are some stone counters that might work. Hard to tell on a computer screen so you really need to see them with your own samples. The right side are Caesarstone or your could use any of the man made quartz products available from Cambria, Zodiak, Silstone etc., or natural stone. The bottom samples are granite and marble. Granite and Quartzite are harder but your could use limestone or marble if that's a powder room. Just remember not to use harsh cleaning products on the softer stones.

You have a lot of flexibility here with color, as well as a good looking bathroom already!

Colonial Cream, Colonial Gold, Santa Cecilia, New Venetian Gold, Giallo Ornamental, and Taj Mahal (which is actually a quartzite--NOT manmade quartz).

Here are the samples with the wall colour included as well. The new granites are Typhoon Bordeaux and Alaskan White but you really need to see them with your samples don't go by the computer screen.
