Livingstone makes an excellent acrylic solid surface product. Fabricators pay less for it than Corian, so you may get a slight break in the price, maybe not.

The acrylic/polyester blends and even the polyester solid surface can make excellent tops. Avonite is a blend and is spectacular.

No poly or blended sinks, please. Acrylic only.

We have had great experiences with different brands of white. Just got with a mainstream brand (I'd avoid a cheap knockoff) and you should be fine.

i liked my corian countertops but really disliked the white corian sink, it stained with cranberry juice and tea bags and anything else that isnt clear, and also there were cracks around the drain from (apparently) pouring off boiling water from a pasta pot. so i'd stick with a stainless sink or else find out if the product you are using resists stains or doesnt crack with boiling water.

Genuine acrylic Corian sinks don't stain. The drain cracks are much more common in polyester or blended sinks.

I have a 20 year old white Wilson art counter with a stainless under mount sink. The counter has not yellowed with age. I did not pick a high gloss finish, it has a gentle patina, and a few chips from where a knife jumped out of my hand. But after 20 years I'm satisfied.
