Help me find a slip cover

I purchased this sofa from Laz E Boy for our Florida rental condo over a year ago. The fabric I selected is much lighter than I thought. I'd like something I can throw over the couch when we are there to protect from dirty feet, sunscreen, etc....

My budget is $100 or less and I need something easy to put on (preferably one piece) and something that stays in place when using the sofa.

The dimensions are:

  • Body Depth: 39.0
  • Body Height: 37.5
  • Body Width: 83.5
  • Seat Depth: 22.5
  • Seat Height: 21.0
  • Seat Width: 67.5

I am overwhelmed looking online and have never bought one before. Please help!

Go to Surefit. Most are over $100, but quite a few are under $100. Look thru the sofa list.

They're not super easy to put on at first, but after a few times, they do get easier. As for one of these staying in place, sorry, but not gonna happen. You'll need to fix it every time you get up. You'd have to at least get one of the stretch types, but they're all over $100.

I watched the video on Surefit -- wow, a lot of work to get that thing on. Not sure any of my renters would ever use it. Would it look tacky to just get one of those sofa covers for pets (we have no pets)? Again, just to protect from my kids when they come in with sunscreen on them. I am sure those things slip around a lot too...

Well I have the pet covers, but I have a pet. If you get one that matches or is close in color to your sofa, you really don't notice it as much. They don't look too bad at all. If you have kids that you want to use if for, I don't think it's tacky.

I have the sure fit, heavyweight stretch suede, and it does stay in place. My only complaint with it, is that the cushion covers are larger than most couch cushions, so there is a lot of adjusting with them. I also have the surefit, chenile stretch (both are in gray), and it stays in place too. It also has much better fitting cushion covers, with very little adjustment. However, if you are looking just for a sofa cover in one piece, take a look at the plush stretch one piece covers. I have them on 3 recliners, and they are wonderful. Once they are on, they fit perfectly and never move. The one on the recliner in the dining room, gets tons of use, and its been on 2 yrs now. All 3 of mine are black. Since I babysit 4 little ones, they all get lots of use, and sometimes spills or stuck on food, and its very easy to clean them off with a damp cloth.
