My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I've been away for a while, but look what I've been working on!!

It's called Sewn Seeds by Hoop Sisters. A BOM that took about a year to complete.

This was mostly done on my 6 needle embroidery machine and has the batting as part of the sewing. I finally have it on the long arm, so I can put a backing on it. Slow, but sure......


I also made this table runner and hot pads for my mom for Christmas:


I was busy last fall sewing for my daughter's dance studio taking care of all the costume repairs and additions for their production of the Nutcracker. It was stressful, but I actually had a good time doing it.

I've been asked to make a few t-shirt quilts for a friend who runs marathons. I've not done any of those before, so stay tuned!

    Oh my goodness, that is stunning. I love how you combine the embroidery with the quilting. The table runner is adorable, too. I can see why you haven't been around lately.
