Window treatment suggestions needed

We're building and I'm trying to figure out what window treatment to use on our living room window. I can sew, and need ideas, please! :)

I worked in the window decor dept at the Expo Design Center (A Home Depot Company) back in 2006. Hunter Douglas gave up classes on how to help customers. I would leave the top portion open for light and use the honeycomb shades inside the 3 glass panels.
