What's wrong with you you have? Move the sofa forward and get a narrow sofa table/console to put behind it, preferably with a lamp on it. If you need a floor plug, get one installed. Then pull those chairs out from the corner and let them flank the fireplace. You can then get two normal size club chairs (not those monstrosities on steroids) and put them at right angle to the sofa.

Your television looks uncomfortably high for viewing. I'd consider putting it caddy corner to the right side of the fireplace or mounting it on the wall to the right of the fireplace on an articulating arm. Then I'd consider getting a sectional sofa.

If you plan to leave the TV where it is I would leave the couch where it is, then add an accent chair on either side of the fireplace like you have. If you plan to get new furniture I would do two matching accent chairs and the 92 inch couch you mentioned! :) For curtains I would only do one panel per window and higher up than the window.
