These were actually natural stones cut to a thin size for fully adhering to the wall. They came from a stone supplier local to the Detroit Metropolitan area. You should be able to get similar from any full service stone supplier. We generally have our clients go to the stone yard and select the basic material then it is fabricated (cut) to a thin veneer if we can't accommodate a full veneer thickness (as was done in this case).
