Design Dilemma Bedroom

need help with sun coming into master bedroom and guest bedroom

What would be the best solution to keep the heat and sun from blasting into both rooms. The guest room gets the EAST and the master gets the WEST. One caveat live within a HOA - so I know I cannot install anything exterior that is visible to neighborhood . The master windows are located at the rear of house.

If you like having some light (not having shades drawn all the time), look into UV and heat blocking films which you can put on the windows.

or solar shades so it doesnt feel gloomy and shut up, but they dont give night time privacy. you need another treatment for that.

did you consider woven woods or something like that (with top down) - I have sun block film on windows and that is helping just a bit - I have binds now - with the sun block on windows -

did you consider like a solar automated shade (exterior)?
