i had an excellent experience with Vintage Doors. I am not an employee. Perhaps everyone's experience is not the same as yours?

I think if you get exactly what you want from them and don't have to address any concerns after the product arrived, they're great (my initial ordering experience was fine). But if you have some sort of issue with the product that arrives, they are more than unhelpful. This is the first time, in all my years of interacting with companies, that I have ever been motivated to write a negative review. I really am just hoping I can save others the mistake of working with them. If your door arrives perfect the first time--you'll be fine. But why not go with another company that has better follow-up customer service, just in case you have an issue?

Can anyone recommend other companies that have better follow up services?

I'd check out on your own the company the woman is complaining about.

Seems she has a personal vendetta and has refused to identify the issue that she had the problem with.

I had a custom made cherry door made @6yrs ago. the customer service couldnt have been better. They helped me choose what would work as a pocket door. Ryan is an amazing craftsman. The door is perfect. They shipped it in this GIANT crate. At first I thought "Geez this is overkill" but when it came off the truck, I could see why. it looked as tho the shipper played "forklift hockey" with it. The door was safe and sound. The whole experince was FLAWLESS. Seems to me the bad reviews are ppl complaining about things that were avoidable had they known exactly what they wanted, and made it clear to the company. I am currently saving to have 2more doors made. I cannot say enough nice things about Vintage doors! Isnt this door GORGEOUS? Dont mind the mouldings. we are in the middle of yet another reno.
