I have a problem. I can't make a decision.

I have holes for a few new roses but near by, there is a lady going out of breeding Rex cats. I love the Rex cat. It is now a cross between a Rex or a Kordes HELP!

oldrosarian, have you met the kittens? If one picks you, well, the choice would be made for you!

The picture looks like Devon Rex, adorable!

    Get them both :)

    Kordes, less maintenance. :-)

You mentioned love when you talked about the kitten but not the Kordes. Clue?

As much as we all love roses here; you can always get plants and roses throughout the year. A specific type of cat may not be available later. You may miss out on a cat with a great personality. That's not replaceable, a rose is.

Those kitties are so cute! And they make wonderful garden companions.

    I agree with HalloBlondie.

As for the roses, I can only dream of when my Cinderellas will look like that.

Oh dear if I could pick I'd get both kittens. Why can't you get both kitty's and a rose? YOLO!!!!

I don't know about you guys. Those are scary looking cats, look at those big ears like lynx.....she is going out of breeding because no one wants to buy the scary cats, and you can't wear dark colored clothes, the cat hair will be everywhere, flying in the air under the sunlight, you have to clean a LOT living with the cat hair.......and they pee inside....... :-)

Cute kitties... not my favorite breed, but they are cute. Of course kittens are always cute! I dunno... tough choice. If you really like the breed, then I'd go for the kitties. But then, I'd probably get both... LOL

Summer.. I don't think Rex cats have that much fur. I mean not like ordinary cats. Not gonna have as much of a cat hair issue with them, I don't think....

    Summer, YOU ARE HILARIOUS!!!!!'

So beautiful!! Get the kitten ! Oh I just love when they run their sweet faces on you . My dh is allergic and I wish he wasn't . One time I pet a rabbit at a pet shop for one second and 3 hours later he still had a rash ! Lol you can get a female and name her "Cindy " short for Cinderella if you saw the movie , the mice call her that :)

Well, cats can purr and cuddle... although for me the choice would be a rose!! Now a dog on the other hand. LOL I really do love cats too...we're all allergic though.

Those cats are adorable with a capital A!!

That Mocha Latte looking kitten on the left will be stunning sitting under your Cinderella. Think of her as a companion plant.

The kitties are cute but the rose is beautiful!

If you google that breed cat, you'd see what they look like after a year. There is nothing balanced to their looks, the huge ears with a small head, extra big body with a long rat tail......and the extra skin.......that breed doesn't have guard hair, only the under fur, which is light and fine, if the cat hair gets in your eyes, you can't see, crying might help........ sorry I have to be truthful since I have so many Lynnette's babies growing in my garden. Roses are always beautiful, no vet bills, no pee, poo inside house....... :-)

Soo which did u choose? Inquiring minds wanna know lol.

Cats are high maintenance? My cat goes to the bathroom outside all the time, though I have known some cats that do otherwise. Dogs, on the other hand, sometimes resist being trained. I have chosen between my dogs and a cleaner house with better fragrance. The dogs won. Here they are, mom, dad and baby:

@eramus - what kind of dogs are those? Min pins or manchester terrier perhaps?

    Maybe Chihuahuas.

You are funny, summers. I love my rescue Chihuahua, who is probably a rat terrier mix. The cats are adorable too.

I have a manchester terrier x chihuahua mix. That's why I asked. Mine is a smart little thing. Very loyal & protective. Fast as anything. Her name is Pearl (the merle).

    Couldn't resist adding a pic!

    Sorry off topic!

I do want to grow the rose little grey pearl for her. Now back on the topic of roses!

Pearl is a cutie, but that little boy of yours is pure perfection.

Pearl has lovely large ears!!! Each one is as long as her head! :)

Gorgeous little boy!! How sweet is that!
