I had painters come today and they removed the hanging ferns on my porch all day. They put the ferns back and when I got home this afternoon I heard something chirping. The best has 3 baby birds in the nest that just hatched. I haven't seen the momma bird since I've been home just constant chirping from the baby birds. Has this happened to anyone else. Will the mom come back?

depends on the breed, some birds abandon a nest of its moved or disturbed
