Have you tracked the traffic to your website brought by Houzz?

I've been active on Houzz for several month. I checked Google Analytics and found that about 8 to 30 visits are brought by Houzz every day. I am not sure if this is good or just so-so?

Have you tracked the traffic from Houzz and the result? Around how many visits every day?

Thank you so much for sharing.

If you are getting 8 to 30 visits to your site via a referring link from Houzz, I would say this is very good. Aside from Google search, Houzz is our biggest source of incoming visitors to our website. Your incoming numbers seem to me to be excellent.

That is good if you are not paying to advertise on Houzz. We get close to 5,000 visits a month on our website through primarily local search or blogging. We've only received 1 direct visit from Houzz in the past 30 days! :(

@CHISM BROTHERS PAINTING, I wasn't aware that blogging is so powerful. I've created my blog while I did not spare much time writing there. I think I need to pay more attention to blogging. CHISM BROTHERS PAINTING, thank you so much!!

You are welcome. I've been doing 2- blogs a month since 2006. It has been worth it. Keep it consistent, blog about helpful ideas, pricing, and projects. Just have fun with it.

Blogging is one of the best drivers of traffic to your website. So are backlinks, and having a profile on Houzz with a link to your website IS a backlink. Ditto with your accounts on Pinterest, HGTV online, etc. Take the time to insert text and keywords for every image on Houzz. Help answer questions and create polls to grow your followers.

Thanks ArchiBusiness Marketing. I have just started backlinking my website for SEO. Any more tips? Also, if Houzz doesnt have much relevance in my local area, would still spending time to strengthen my profile increase the value of backlink I get from Houzz? Any help would be much appreciated.

I'd be super curious if the information in this thread is still accurate. For example the link to your site from your profile seems to go through a tracker URL, which might act a lot like a nofollow link as I understand. But it does still seem like high quality photos of projects are a good way to get visibility on Houzz. Anybody have recent traffic numbers they would share? I haven't gotten any direct traffic to How To ADU from my profile in the first month, but it's still early!

I agree, I think that ArchiBusiness Marketing's advice is out of date. We haven't seen a backlink, even a no-follow one from our profile to our website The Pool Man since creating the profile almost three years ago. It is still very useful to update your projects and add great photos to help increase your exposure on Houzz, but creating the listing just for a backlink doesn't make sense.
