The rug isn't doing much for the room on my monitor, but my monitor isn't that accurate with colors so it may look better in person. It just seems a little dull. Have you tried a green rag rug with blue in it? I think that might work better since your walls are green.

I'd look for a navy(ish) jute or ombre rug. Something along these lines ...

I had a rag rug with the same colors as the quilt, green and blue yellow. It would look good in there so I think something along those lines. It would brighten it up too. The darker one is drab.

Ya, the one that's there now is just something I had around. I don't plan to use that long term. I do like rag rugs just need to find something in the right color. That Pier 1 rug looks very interesting. Might see if I can get a small one to check out. Thanks all!

Caroleb - do you know where that green braided rug is from? In looking at all of these more closely I think some are too much of an aqua blue and some are too much toward a lime green. That one looks closer to the right color. Now I'm working on options where I can either get a sample or no cost return. Haven't decided if I want one bigger rug or two smaller ones on each side of the bed.

I ordered a sample of this one and a couple others. I'd rather have a rag type if I can find one but I love this company and they send free samples and have a huge range of sizes.

I love that LL Bean rug. I've seen that before and it's one of the things that inspired this color scheme. You don't think that would be too busy, or too matchy-matchy or maybe tried to match but failed. I thought I might get a rug like that but then thought maybe it would be too much of a good thing - blue, green, yellow.
