How are you caring for it and what kind of potting mix is it in?

It was in regular potting soil but I just bought the special cacti soil mix. When it dries out and inch down I water just until damp. Southern window. Thanks for the other forum note, I didn't know.

Most commercial cacti mixes are still too peaty and should be mixed 50-50 with perlite. Stick a chopstick deep into the mix to check for moisture deep down and water then. The top inch is too shallow.
