Looks like a bleeding heart, Lamprocapnos spectablis. If so, it's an early spring bloomer and getting ready to go dormant for the summer. There was no tag.....????

Nope. Lamprocapnos. The leaf shape is different from Aquilegia.

im thinking bleeding heart also .. and its yellowing toward dormancy ... what gal said ,..

put a stick in the ground there.. so you dont plant something over it.. before next spring ...

back in my fall bulb planting days.. i cant imagine how many of them i killed thinking.. oh.. there's a nice empty spot.. lol ..
