I've got a 9 x 13 rug that I ordered which should be excellent for the room. They have a 9x12 rug pad that they were suggesting should be fine but I'm wonder whether it's a good idea to have it 1" off the edges on one side but 6" off the edge on the others. They said that having it longer would ensure no one trips over it but they can provide me with a larger rug pad. Hoping for advice from others who have rugs and rug pads.
