Yes, more detail please. Is this for privacy, light blocking, view blocking, etc. Do you anticipate leaving them mostly open, mostly closed, or opening and closing them regularly?

If it were my house, I'd probably do one rod (Or tensioned cable) that spanned the wall, hung higher that your current rod, maybe even up at the ceiling. Then I'd add either 4 or 6 panels that, when open, hung at the far ends of the wall and between the windows and slider (on both ends of the slider).

It would mostly be for light blocking. We do use the door regularly as a means to our backyard. It is used daily.

What is that on the right? 135° angle? You don't have any room to stack panels, like in a panel track system. Do you use the windows? If you don't, you could just run curtains across the whole wall, open them in the middle during the day when you use the door.

Vertical for the slider and horizontal sheer Shadings are a soft and elegant way to dress your windows while providing lots of options for privacy and light control. You could also add fabric valances or cornices for a decorative touch without overwhelming the space.

I would look at white plantation shutters for the windows and a Vertiglide on the slider since you use it every day. I would then either add a cornice over the Vertiglide or some drapery side panels. Now if you have young children I am going to change my Vertiglide recommendation to a vertical. I know no one like verticals but if you have sticky little hands, you want to be able to clean the blind easily! When they have grown to the point where you don't have to worry about that anymore, then you can move to a Vertiglide or something else.
