It's not much at all so I don't mind spending a little bit more. My only concern is I don't want it too checkerboard looking. Would you recommend moire or charcoal?

FWIW - we debated this very issue and asked our lumber yard guy, he said in his opinion, it wasn't worth it. He said that his customers have been very happy with the certainteed product without having to upgrade to the PRO. We have the basic on our house (8 years old) and they have held up great. We just put the basic on our new build as well.

BK Iowa - Thanks, that's what I'm leaning toward. We are siding our home in Certainteed Granite Gray, which is a warm gray. What color is your house? Do you find Moire a warm or cool tone? I'm worried Moire may take on a cool tone look if we go Pro and compete with the siding color.

Nimackay - sorry I've been out of town. I actually have four houses that we've done in moire, my sister also uses them. If you send me a PM, I can give you pics of each (green/grey, light tan/creme, country blue and pacific blue). Moire is a pretty deep grey, even after eight years it still looks fairly dark.
