We recently bought new living room furniture and an area rug. We have wall-to-wall carpeting with a really good pad. We put the area rug over the carpet (no pad). Looked great, until we put the furniture on top and it started bunching and puckering. We thought it was a "bad" rug, so we sent it back and got a new one. Got the new rug this morning and again, it looked great, until we started putting the furniture back. It is already starting to pucker. Would a rug pad really help, or are we just spinning our wheels here? I wish we could afford to put down beautiful new wood flooring, but that is not possible right now. Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
