Do you want to keep with a neutral soft vibe or do you want a splash of color? Something to consider . . .

@Anglophilia, I think the biggest suggestion I'm looking for is what color should the nightstands be in my room (from my original post)? I like neutral and warm/inviting bedrooms (see image below).

@Pinkmountain, I want to keep the neutral soft vibe. I love bedroom color palettes that are warm and inviting. Like this...I also think neutral furniture will allow me to play with more colors for my bedding.

Try nightstands in the same wood tone as the bench legs. Then add light colored or glass table lamps. More importantly, I would find bedding to match the headboard and bench and tie the furnishings together.

er612, That looks great. I agree that bedding to coordinate the bench and headboard really ties the room together.

I like the lighter ones. But that's my taste. I think you will be fine either way. Shop around until you find something that speaks to you.
