Master bath & closet design advice

last modified: 8 years ago

I just moved into a great home that hasn't been updated since 1960 (or ever). The current master bath is the traditional 5x8 space with a 5x6 master closet. Fortunately, I can add a 16'10"x15'6" addition to the master bedroom to make a master suite. I'm looking for layout designs for this new space, but have a few things to keep in mind. 1. I want to keep the current closet and small bathroom (remodeled of course) as "His" so the addition will be for "Her" only. 2. Master bath a. Single sink b. Full shower c. Full bathtub d. Separate toilet room e. Coffee bar f. Prefer all plumbing to be on inside walls g. Makeup counter h. Linen cabinet 3. Master closet: a. Full size stackable washer/dryer b. Preferably just one door to save wall space I'm open to all ideas and even feel free to tell me if you don't like some of my current ones. Obviously this isn't going to be a cheap project, but pretty sure I will get every dollar back since I'm adding square footage. What do you think? Thanks, Cody
