Black would be more dramatic. White would be more inviting.

Either works. Black goes with the door and lamppost and white goes with the trim.

Leaning toward black.

I was thinking black also but then not sure if I should do steps, balusters & railings in black and white posts? Everything black or is that too much black? Can't seem to find many pictures with black porch railings and posts. Thanks for your input. (:
