Hi, more pics of your room would be helpful. Instead of creating a fake window in order to have a symmetrical look, it might be possible to get some balance with just window by rearranging your furniture, if you're willing to consider that.

Are you open to painting any of the furniture?

This is pretty much the furniture layout, due to doorway one wall with bathroom door same wall on other end. Closet door on another. I tried moving the furniture around including angling bed in corner. I once had the bed on the wall to left of bed, but that has one window as well & it looked more awkward there with no room for side tables. I would consider painting the furniture, eventually, but that is a big job with so much more else to be done. I can live with it for now. Just need suggestions for the curtains.

I think your furniture looks lovely; I personally would not paint it. I've rarely seen painted furniture that was any improvement over the original look.

Would you consider painting the walls a "real" color (not grey)? That would add some pizzazz.

Your room is huge compared to mine, and I have the same off-balance window problem. I think a faux window with matching treatment would be fun.

Could you post views of each wall and a sketched floor plan of the room?

I have the same issue in my bedroom (one window). I had planned on doing a faux window, but have decided not to in hopes that we may be able to get a real window installed one of these days. In the meantime, I have drapes on one side and an antique mirror on the other. Your furniture is classic and I like your lamps. Toile would be a lovely choice for your drapery panels. Hang them a bit higher than your rod is now though.

Torreykm...I do love the toile, but because the quilt & piilow shams have a floral print, I thought needed a different print for the curtains, like ticking or just going white.

Ticking would be an excellent choice if your going to use the printed quilt and shams. Is the quilt white on one side and print on the other?

I have been looking, but unable to find what I like. I am not sold on ticking just yet. Looking for farmhouse look. I found these 2. Also, still looking for bedskirt.
