Thanks Sarah. I normally don't have Sud issues. I'm washing something I've never washed before, so that is the reason for the suds.

Greeny, I was washing 5 white linen tablecloths. One was stained with a blue ink pen. I toss 2 Tbsp of Mex Ariel in the pre-treat cup. 4 Tbsp of Mex Ariel in the detergent cup. Ran my Elux on the "Any Stain" setting. I rinsed well so all is good.

Speaking of rinsing. I used to subscribe to CR but gave up on it because of their testing and not testing rinsing ability of washers and detergents. The CR of the EU tests rinsing ability along with energy usage of the machines and detergents. Anyone know if CR is still basing their results on a 8 pound load of laundry?

I don't know Jerrod, but CR'testing leaves much to be desired. I don't rely on them except to do my own testing on some of their top performers only as a starting point. Dont they test in cool water?

I know they tested detergents In 75F water because they said that was the temp people would likely find in today's washers. Still, testing 8 pounds of clothes seems to be off the mark considering most machines hold more than that. If a machine can clean 8 pounds in a cycle that may not mean it can clean 13 or 15 pounds in the same cycle.

Were I live our consumer reports magasin does its test in 104 water wich is mosly used here in Sweden. Here they always test for rinseability for both the detergent and washingmachine.
