I would have to opt for a piece smaller than the 64 wide. Not shown is the layout of the upstairs hallway. A very big concern here should be that the corner of the large piece WILL protrude into the walk space of your area creating a safety concern for small children running thru as well as you hitting your hip or such. To select an appropriate and safe size, take your tape and make a 45 degree angle from the right side edge of wall and out towards the left. This should show your "safe" walking space. Also a curved or half round would be a good selection.
