Hope someone here can identify this pretty little rose -

We just moved into an over 55 community and this pretty little rose is blooming in my front yard.

I really love it and I'd like to learn more so that I can give it proper care.

I tried to get a photo that captures all the different colors on the rose bush. The buds are deep yellow and as the flower opens it it takes on a soft pink blush and as it starts to lose petals it's nearly all pink.

It seems fairly disease resistant - the leaves look nearly perfect and the previous owner had neglected it for a few years. We're either going to prune it or transplant it because it's growing over the front sidewalk.

I noticed that the new growth doesn't seem to have any thorns but there are thorns on the older, thicker stems. We've hired a landscaper to improve the foundation plantings and she wasn't sure what it was - she suggested a Knock Out but I had Knock Outs at my previous home and even the Sunny Knock Out didn't resemble this.

And idea what this might be?

My first thought was also Peace.

Peace can have several looks. Its blooms are short-lived, maybe 3 days. How well does yours last on the bush?

Close-up pictures would be nice.

Thank you Iris. I'll see if I can get a close up of the flower and perhaps a bud too.

More close-ups. The rose hips are really large.

Not PEACE. It doesn't have the telltale puckered leaves of the Peace family.

Here's a page of 'Peace' being mostly yellow. HMF has pages and pages of 'Peace' blooms and you may be able to rule it out.

Thanks again everyone. Our landscape designer has been really helpful as we plan the changes to our existing planting beds - but she readily admits that this one stumped her.

Try Golden Masterpiece. Mine blooms yellow and fades to whitish and pinkish hues just like that in your picture. No scent either.

Thanks DVS - I've added Golden masterpiece to the list along with the ones Iris posted.

Of course now that's it's nearly winter here I'll have to wait until spring to do a good visual comparison.
