Depends? eat in kitchen? dining area? easy to vacuum?

I personally never wanted one, as it just makes more work/makes it harder to clean up spills (in particular) and food that's dropped, especially if said food is "wet/gloppy/stainable", etc. Why make things harder? ;)

Plus--things do not break as easily when dropped.

Minus--stained easily

Plus--decor is embellished

Minus--chairs are more difficult to move

Plus--out of plusses

Minus--More maintenance and cleaning required

Minus--can be an allergy intensifier
