At our summer cottage, we have small Bosch Axxis washer that we purchased in 2008. The washer is installed in a utility closet where it barely fits nexts to the hot water heater. The dryer has been in a garage type space, and we are finally tired of going out there to dry the wash.
So today I went to the dealer where I purchased the Bosch, and asked if Bosch's current compact dryer could stack on this 2008 washer. The dimensions appear to be identical.
The dealer told me that the currently available stacking kit would not work, because it would not line up. Even if I found an old stacking kit, it would have the same issue.
But he said, I might be able to fashion a stacking kit myself. He said he couldn't tell me to do that, or how to do that, because it's not authorized, but he said it shouldn't be too hard.
Does anyone have experience with this?
