I'd move it to the other side. Then you have several options like some art, a gallery wall, or a starburst mirror above it.

As for curtains, Roman shades might look nice. Alternatively you could layer some floor to ceiling panels over the blinds.

I would move it to the other side, get a large mirror to reflect the water...then the window will beg for full length drapes that open all the way to let the full view shine in.

That room looks really small is there any way to eliminate the dresser or move to a hall way then add full length drapes in a nice faux silk maybe for a bit of glam .A mirror to reflect the view would be nice but I would do a piece of art instead with mabe the dresser on that side if you really have the room but I think you need night tables first so maybe chests that have drawers would be the answer for them. Are you very young? I find the pink bedding a bit juvenile so I guess i would change that if you are a young adult .Maybe something like this with a bit of mirrored finsh to add to the glam, some nice lamps too. This is a good idea of a small room but glam and the bedding is a little more grown up.

Lol young at heart. I’m 45! And in my opinion you’re never too old of for ANYTHING.

I'd move it to the other side and get curtains for the window. Curtains won't work well with the dresser there. As it is, anything you set on top of the dresser will block that terrific view (and I know I always am stacking stuff on my dresser, even when my plan is to keep it clear).

I think Arcy's idea of a mirror opposite the window to reflect the view is a good one. Normally I'd be suggesting art, but with such a small room and such a nice view, I think a mirror will work really well.

I like the Roman shades suggestion, mainly because I dislike blinds and curtains, beautiful view btw. And yes, move the dresser. And yes, Rachel age is just a number, but even though I’m thin & workout several times a week I’m too old for a bikini.

I agree with Arcy and the drapes to widen the look of the window. Love her mirror idea.

I think bedrooms need to be a reflection of who you are and if that means doing pink bedding when you are 45 then do it but you asked for help and we all have opinions

Replace the dresser storage with a pair of drawer chests on either side of the bed. Lamps on top of them and mirrors behind to bring in more of the lovely light. Curtains just for softness flanking the window.

Lower the art so it is closer to the dresser top than it is to the top of the door - 5" is pretty standard. Once in a while treat yourself to a bouquet of pink roses on the right.
