I am in the process of finalizing the exterior design of our new home, and I am torn on the metal roof color I should use with our dark charcoal asphalt shingles. I love the look of mixing metal with asphalt shingles, but I am not sure if I should go with a dark bronze metal for our front porch and awnings or if I should use a black metal. We are using a dark charcoal shingle, black shutters and a wood stained front door. In my mind, I originally thought we would just use a black metal roof to keep all the roof colors black, but my builder seems to think I should use a dark bronze instead of black. My fear is the bronze will contrast with all of my black roof and shutters... Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
