The look we are going for- didn't want straight traditional but definitely not modern.

Any comments on those Windows?

The 400 series is a solidly built product with a good company behind it. I don't think you are in danger of making a bad decision on the product side of the equation.

Would it be worth looking into a Marvin line too? There are no show rooms close to us so basically going on reviews and suggestions

How far is far? It is a one time decision (we hope) and it might be worth looking at the Marvin at least as a competitive comparison.

Ok- think we decided on Anderson 400s. Doing exterior in Dark Bronze and most of the interiors with Dark Bronze too, but the jams will be white. Basement and Study will have unfinished pine so we can stain.

Would you all recommend oil oil Bronze or Satin Nickel hard ware for the dark bronze interiors? We originally thought Bronze to end in, but the hardware (crank) will sit about 50/50 on the window/jam.

All other hardware in house will be satin nickel including basement cranks

Depends on the hardware selections of the room and how much you want to highlight the hardware. Some folks don't like the hardware, some do. In a kitchen where I suspect there will be some stainless appliances, the Satin Nickel is a nice blend and consistency with the appliances. In the rest of the home, either will work depending on your contrast leanings and the hardware accents of a given room.

Hard to see from these pictures, but the bottom crank will sit halfway on the white trim jam too. The oil Bronze is almost a black- so still will have a little contrast.

I am definitely doing satin nickel on the slider doors which are also Bronze.
