I like the mirror...perhaps hang it horizontally and maybe hang some prints to each side. Don't like those lamps, maybe one larger one instead. Have you considered a rug for some color?

Good point Lars, and sconces would be perfect.

You may be happier if you traded your mirror out for artwork. Something similar to the photo below. Also, you could stick with a more neutral colored pair of lamps, or use this as an opportunity to bring in an accent color. Good luck!

You could forget the table lamps all together and add sconces like the photo below. Good luck!

Is the sideboard even centered under the mirror and with the table?

I think it's the lamps that are throwing things off. They just look out of proportion.

Could you try removing them and then repost.

They the centered however I believe the photo us making it appear they r not centered

Shorter lamps and a rug plus a lower and more blingy chandelier. How about drapes?
