So I bought some cool looking plant in september, and now its leaves have started to wither :/ I'm not sure what kind of plant it is so I couldn't find any care tips and I'm kinda novice in these things, so now I need help in recognizing the species and learning how to properly care for my plant. It looks something like this:

I have both plants shown in the picture in the same pot, but only the one with smaller leaves is dying. I have planted it in some normal house plant soil and kept it moist, altough I have only watered it once because it never seems to dry out? Its located about seven meters away from south window (I only have south windows). I hope you understand my problem even though english is not my native language. Thanks in advance!
