I have never attempted to leaf out stalks- but have rooted tops, which is relatively easy. Yellowish leaf color- have you changed the plants location recently? You might try a weak liquid fertilizer- diluted to like 1/8 th strength, so the plant just gets a bit. Try to keep the plant in as ideal growing conditions as possible.

I have moved the plant recently but not far. The area it was in is quite cool and I just moved it farther away from any possible draft. A temperature reading showed around 70 F where it was but that couldn't be accurate, more like 66-68 F because a window nearby was open 24/7 besides it feels like it (computers love cool air). I'll see if the move helps at all and if not I'll try the fertilizer but I'm thinking it has to be the temperature.
