Slim/Shallow Gas Fireplace (direct vent)

Wondering if anyone can help! We are remodeling and have been on a crazy search for a super shallow/slim depth gas direct vent linear fireplace.

We need the fireplace to be no more than 14" deep with framing. Ideally the fireplace would be a linear, contemporary looking fireplace with viewing area about 60" wide and 12" - 18" high?

Any suggestions? All the ones we see online are like 18" deep and that's just too big for our space.

I had the same issue and searched FOREVER, it seems. I ended up with one made by a Canadian company called Archgard. Mine is the Brigantia.

Have you stopped by your local retailer?

Do that first and ask what they recommend. See if they carry Hearthstone or Solas brands.

Looking high and low for this, too. I had found the BGD33NR by Napoleon (only 13" deep!) but it is discontinued after 2015 due to small change in safety screen requirements. It had some really nice options but nobody seems to have stock left on this. The Ascent B30 (http://napoleonfireplaces.com/products/ascent-30-gas-fireplace/) is the next closest but isn't nearly as nice.

Does anyone know how to get a Britagnia fireplace? I have heard they are slim, and I have a small living room. But I can't seem to find a dealer in the United States?

Contact Archgard in Canada and ask them. I live in Virginia and they have a dealer here.

@graywings123 - How do you like the Brigantia? This thread has been helpful, but I have not had luck finding reviews. My local distributor can order it, but they don't sell it often and have no feedback.

I like the Brigantia because it would have been that or nothing. It certainly puts out a lot of heat. The flame is disappointing. It resembles the straight line flame of a gas oven rather than the roundish flame of a natural fire.
