Chandelier Design Dilemma

This is the first time that I try this feature, so here goes:

I'm having a design dilemma in my dining room. We renovated a home we bought two years ago. I would like to move a dining room table, and thus move my dining room chandelier. I know what is in the ceiling because it was open 2 years ago. Regardless, opening another hole in the ceiling is not another option due to a giant I beam that bears weight on an existing extension of the home.

Currently, the chandelier is centered on the table, but the table looks "off" in the room because its not centered to the windows, nor the mirror. What's more, we would like a little play area for our 18 month old toddler with a little table.

The current light fixture outlet needs to move about 2 1/2 feet. I was looking to get around this by finding a rectangular chandelier with a CANOPY length of 60 inches (that way, the electricity can be routed through the canopy. I can't for the life of me find a nice transitional chandelier that meets this criteria except for ones on Restoration Hardware that are $4-5,000 (I'm in Montreal so the price is even higher when converted to Canadian dollars.

Another option would be to change the light into a track light and find an adaptor from which to hang my current chandelier, but I have scoured the internet and have not been able to find such a product. Lighting stores seem to have them, but everyone says they are not for residential application, and so cannot be sold to me.

Third option is a track light system with pendants, but my island already has three pendants, so I feel it would be quite "hangy" with pendants everywhere.

Anyone know of a nice linear chandelier with a 60" canopy that doesn't cost $5000?

Also, I found what I assume are the suppliers from Hong Kong for restoration hardware, but I have never ordered from the site. I'm not sure if its a scam or not...
